Military Salute Weekend Participant Agenda

Saturday March 9, & Sunday March 10
FREE lift tickets for active and veteran service men and women as well as discounted lift tickets ($45 All Ages) for active duty family members with a valid form of ID on Saturday March 9 & Sunday March 10 at Attitash and Wildcat Mountains.

Saturday On-Snow Activities At Attitash

11 a.m.
Organizational meeting in Ptarmigan’s Pub with Flag Bearers

12:30 p.m.
Flag Bearers load the Flying Yankee lift. Hosts begin to distribute small Flags and Red, White and Blue beads to guests loading the Flying Yankee lift.

1 p.m.
• Parade starts down Spillway from Coaches Knoll
• Large flag carried by Fred Shine which will lead the parade
• Branch flags will be next: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard
• Other large American flags will follow
• General public participants will follow
• The large American Flag, Branch Flags and 6 American Flags march into position while the parade concludes behind them

1:15 p.m.
The National Anthem is sung by Jennifer Teft, and followed with a speech from Attitash General Manager John Lowell
Flags exit by branch first then American flags
• Flags are collected and taken to Ptarmigan’s Pub for display

Sunday On-Snow Activities At Attitash

Battle of the Branches Ski Race. Choose the Military Branch you would like to represent and race a best out of 2 run course located on Spillway.
• 8:00-10:00am Register in the South Wing
• $20 requested donation
• 9:00-10:45am Course Inspection
• 11:00-1:00pm Course is open
• 2:00pm Awards in Ptarmigan’s Pub
